Minnesota rises in latest women’s hockey Power 5
With the women’s college hockey regular season nearing a close, all five teams in Jordan Menard’s Power 5 rankings retain their spot for another week.

No. 1 Ohio State (Previous: 1) โย The Buckeyes took a pair of wins over Minnesota State this weekend, with a 3-0 shutout on Friday and a 6-2 win on Saturday. The Buckeyes have been dominating all season. Can they continue their 13-game win streak until the end of the season?
No. 2 Wisconsin (Previous: 2) โย ย The Badgers swept Bemidji State. Kirsten Simms is leading the Badgers with 25 goals and 31 assists so far this season. Badgers will enter tough back-to-back weekends, facing off against Minnesota this weekend and then Ohio State the next.ย
No. 3 Minnesota (Previous: 5) โย The Golden Gophers got a sweep over St. Cloud and have been on an eight-game win streak. The Gophers will head to Madison this weekend for a top-5 Border Battle.

No. 4 Clarkson (Previous: 3) โ Clarkson took two ranked wins this weekend, downing Princeton 1-0 and Quinnipiac 2-1 in overtime, where Nicole Gosling scored thegame-winningg goal.
No. 5 Cornell (Previous: 4) โย The Big Red took a 1-0 victory over RPI on Friday and then took a 4-3 win over Union on Saturday. McKenna Van Gelder scored a pair of goals for the Big Red
