Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette has criticised the atmosphere during Premier League games.
The Frenchman admitted that he misses the noise generated by supporters during Ligue 1 fixtures.
Lacazette: “I miss Ligue 1’s atmosphere”
According to Lacazette, fans in England are “more spectators than supporters”.
Lacazette told Le Progres:
“I miss Ligue 1’s atmosphere. In England, the fans are more spectators than supporters.
“There’s a better atmosphere in French stadiums.”
Lacazette’s resurgence under Unai Emery
The 27-year-old has enjoyed a strong resurgence under Unai Emery this season.
Lacazette has managed five goals and three assists in all competitions.
His return to form has helped influence the Gunners’ run of nine consecutive wins.
The former Olympique Lyonnais striker has also formed a strong bond with fellow forward Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.
Together the pair have forged a deadly partnership which makes Arsenal strong contenders for the top-four.
On his relationship with Aubameyang, he added:
“It is good, he is like my brother.
“We talk every day and we love working together.”
