Fresh off advancing to the G League Eastern Conference Finals, the good news keeps coming for Mitch Creek with reports emerging that he is close to signing another 10-day contract, this time with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The news was first reported by The Athletic Minnesota’s Jon Krawczynski, with the injury-depleted Wolves turning to Creek.
Severely shorthanded, Wolves are working on signing Mitch Creek from Long Island of the G League to a 10-day contract, sources tell @TheAthleticMIN. Creek is a 6-5 shooting guard avging 15.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.

It is understood that Creek is on his way to Minnesota at this time.
Creek who signed with the South East Melbourne Phoenix ahead of NBL20 has averages of 15.2 points and 5.6 rebounds with the Long Island Nets.
In Long Island’s most recent playoff match up against the Raptors 905, Creek posted a double-double with 13 points, 12 rebounds and 2 steals, advancing them to the Eastern Conference Finals.
