Crystal Palace’s Andros Townsend has won the 2018-19 Premier League Goal of the Season award.

Townsend picked up the gong for his incredible volley against Man City.

The Eagles famously beat the eventual Premier League champions 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium in December.

Chelsea’s Eden Hazard & Man City’s Vincent Kompany

Townsend beat out the likes of Chelsea’s Eden Hazard to the award.

Hazard was in the running for the goal of the season prize for a solo stunner against West Ham.

Another player who lost out to Townsend was Man City’s Vincent Kompany.

Kompany scored a tremendous long-range golazo against Leicester which helped wrap up the league title.
