Former Everton and Manchester United manager David Moyes is the early favourite to replace Gary Rowett at Stoke City, according to Ladbrokes.
The Potters find themselves languishing in the bottom half of the Championship and decided to part ways with Rowett on Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger have also emerged as surprise candidates to take the job at the Midlands club.

Moyes is the early favourite to take charge at the Bet365 Stadium following the sacking of Rowlett.
The Scottish manager has been out of work since leaving West Ham United last May.
Sam Allardyce is also amongst the candidates for the role and is at 7/1 with Ladbrokes.
Wenger and Mourinho are 33/1 apiece to find themselves at Stoke in the next few weeks.

“With Rowett gone, it looks as though Moyes will soon be taking over in Staffordshire.”
Stoke sack Rowlett following FA Cup draw
The Potters opted to sack Rowett following the club’s 1-1 draw with League 1 side Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup.
Stoke will have been hoping for an immediate return to the Premier League.
However, with the Midlands club currently sat 13th and eight points off the play-off spots, their form has been far from good enough.
