28-year old power forward Nikola Mirotic (207-PF-91) had a very impressive game in the last round for league’s best team FC Barcelona and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 10.
He had a double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds, while his team crushed Maccabi T-A (#7, 6-4) with 23-point margin 96-73. It allowed FC Barcelona to take over top position in the Euroleague. FC Barcelona have a solid 8-2 record. In the team’s last game Mirotic had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be FC Barcelona’s top player in his first season with the team. Mirotic has impressive league stats. He is in league’s top in points (6th best: 18.5ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 7.0rpg) and averages solid 59.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Gabriel Deck (199-SF-95) of Real Madrid. He is Argentinian in his 2nd season at Real Madrid. In the last game Deck recorded impressive double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Real Madrid to another comfortable win 97-81 over slightly lower-ranked CSKA (#5, 6-4) being unquestionably team leader. Real Madrid’s 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team’s 7-3 record is not bad at all. Deck is well-known at Real Madrid and he already established his position as one of the team’s leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Stefan Jovic (198-PG-90) of Khimki (#6). Jovic showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, five rebounds and eleven assists (!!!) in the last round. Despite Jovic’s great performance Khimki lost 84-89 to the lower-ranked Valencia (#12, 4-6). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Khimki needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 6 victories and 4 lost games. Jovic has a very solid season. In 5 games in Euroleague he scored 7.8ppg.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Spanish FC Barcelona as it allowed them to take a leadership position. FC Barcelona smashed 5th ranked Israeli Maccabi T-A at home 96-73. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 53-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. FC Barcelona dominated on the defensive end, holding Maccabi T-A to just 7 points in fourth quarter. 30 personal fouls committed by Maccabi T-A helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin-Spanish Nikola Mirotic (207-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds. American Cory Higgins (196-89, college: Colorado, agency: Network Sports International) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Greek-American Tyler Dorsey (193-96, college: Oregon, agency: Wasserman) replied with 15 points for Maccabi T-A. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Anadolu Efes. Defending Israeli champion Maccabi T-A keeps the fifth place with four games lost. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Italian Armani Milano (7-3) at the home court. Hosts were defeated by Turkish Anadolu Efes (8-2) 81-76. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Crvena Zvezda will meet at home higher ranked Valencia Basket (#12) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Zalgiris will play against ALBA Berlin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Higher ranked Khimki lost to thirteenth ranked Valencia Basket in a road game 84-89. Joaquin Colom fired a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 assists for the winners. Valencia Basket’s coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Valencia Basket have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Olympiacos and Bayern. Khimki at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Valencia Basket’s next round opponent will be Crvena Zvezda (#15) in Beograd. Khimki will play on the road against Fenerbahce (#17) in Istanbul and hope to win that game.

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked Greek Olympiacos and 13th ranked German ALBA Berlin had identical 3-6 record. But ALBA Berlin was not able to use a home court advantage and was crushed by the opponent from Pireus 99-80 on Thursday night. The game without a history. Olympiacos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to ALBA Berlin’s 22. Olympiacos shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a very good performance for American power forward Augustine Rubit (200-89, college: S.Alabama, agency: Wasserman) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 8 rebounds. Very predictable result when tenth ranked Spanish Baskonia (5-5) won against bottom-ranked Russian Zenit (2-8) in Vitoria 70-60 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 70-60. Baskonia outrebounded Zenit 40-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. Quite impressive performance for Georgian Tornike Shengelia (206-91, agency: Wasserman) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 7 rebounds. Argentinian guard Luca Vildoza (190-95) contributed with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Spanish Real Madrid and 5th ranked Russian CSKA had identical 6-3 record. This time Real Madrid used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Moscow 97-81 on Friday night. The game without a history. Real Madrid led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to CSKA’s 30 and made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. CSKA was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for Argentinian Gabriel Deck (199-95) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Argentinian point guard Facundo Campazzo (181-91) contributed with 18 points and 6 assists for the winners. Real Madrid (7-3) have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending Spanish champion (7-3) moved-up to third place, which they share with Milano. CSKA will play on the road against the league’s leader FC Barcelona (#1) and hope to win that game.

In 33 BBL games he had 6.3ppg, 2.9rpg and 1.1apg. He also played 10 games in Eurocup where he got 4.4ppg and 3.2rpg. The other team Radosavljevic played shortly was EnBW Ludwigsburg. In three BBL games he got just 2.0ppg and 1.0rpg. He also played 3 games in Basketball Champions League, but he did not score anything and had only 2 rebounds.
Among other achievements Radosavljevic received Eurobasket.com All-European Championships U20 Honorable Mention award back in 2013.
He was also a member of German international program for some years. Radosavljevic played for German Senior National Team between 2014 and 2017 and previously for U20 National Team in 2013.
He represented Germany at the World University Games in Gwangju (South Korea) four years ago. Radosavljevic’s team won Silver and his stats at that event were 7 games: 8.9ppg, 7.4rpg, 1.0bpg, FGP: 40.9%, FT: 53.3%.
Radosavljevic has played also professionally in Spain (Real Betis), Germany (Bayern Muenchen, Walter Tigers and FC Bayern Muenchen II) and Austria (SKN St. Poelten Basketball).
