Serbian Guard Vasilije Micic (196-G-94, agency: BeoBasket) had a very impressive game in the last round for Anadolu Efes, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 25-year old player was the main contributor (26 points, two rebounds and five assists) to his team’s victory, helping them to beat Crvena Zvezda (#15, 1-4) 85-70. Anadolu Efes maintains the 4th position in Euroleague . They are still close to the very top. Anadolu Efes would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 4-1 record. In the team’s last game Micic had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. It’s his second year at Anadolu Efes and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. Vasilije Micic has solid league stats. He is in league’s top in points (6th best: 18.0ppg), assists (2nd best: 7.8apg) and averages impressive 2.2spg.
