Turkish Airlines Euroleague announced the matches that will take place in the opening round of the 2018/19 season, with the clash between Euroleague champions, Real Madrid, and EuroCup champions, Darussafaka, being the most important match.
Buducnost, in their first Euroleague game after 15 years, will host Armani Milano, while Gran Canaria will play against Fenerbahce in their first-ever Euroleague match.
Barcelona will face CSKA Moscow on the road, while Maccabi Tel-Aviv will travel to Athens to face Panathinaikos Superfoods.
Zalgiris will welcome Baskonia at the “Zalgirio Arena”, Bayern Munich will host Anadolu Efes and Olympiacos will travel to Moscow to face their former coach, Giorgos Bartzokas, and Khimki.
The opening round will be played on Thursday, October 11th, and Friday, October 12th.
