FHSAA Announces FINAL Girls Volleyball Classifications For 2019 and 2020 Seasons

GAINESVILLE, FLA. (2/12/19) – The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) announced Tuesday the final classifications for the 2019 and 2020 girls volleyball seasons. As requested by membership, the classifications were determined solely based on each member school’s enrollment size.

Of the 600-plus schools who committed to field a girls volleyball team, less than two percent of schools were reassigned from the original December 14 announcement. Below are the changes:

Assigned district meeting hosts are listed in the link below.  District host information will be sent to each district host school representative. All district meetings will take place between March 18-April 12.

The Florida High School Athletic Association supervises and regulates interscholastic athletic programs for high school students at member public, private and charter schools. The organization also recognizes and honors academic achievement among student-athletes at almost 800 middle, junior and senior high schools statewide. Headquartered in Gainesville, it is the official governing body for interscholastic athletics in Florida.
