The 30-year old forward had a double-double of 31 points and twelve rebounds, while his team beat La Charite (#13, 0-1), the league’s bottom-ranked team 88-81. Saint Vallier is placed at 7th position in their group in French NM1. But it’s just the very beginning of the season and Saint Vallier won just one (their first) game. It’s too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team’s last game Watt had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Saint Vallier’s top player in his first season with the team. Texas A&M – Corpus Christi graduate has very impressive stats this year. Watt is in league’s top in points (2nd best: 31.0ppg), rebounds (4th best: 12.0rpg) and averages solid 83.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was 29-year old Canadian forward Guillaume Boucard (198-F-90) of Mulhouse. Boucard impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 32 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Mulhouse was edged by Andrezieux (1-0) 104-101. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let’s wait for the next round. The third best performed player last round was Romain Dardaine (201-PF-88) of Le Havre (#11). Dardaine showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, seven rebounds and five assists in the last round. Despite Dardaine’s great performance Le Havre lost 92-96 to Boulogne (#2, 1-0). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The season just started for Dardaine as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team’s leader.
