GAINESVILLE, FL (10/4/16) – The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) and Golden Gate High School have entered into an agreement to host the 2017 FHSAA Boys Volleyball State Championships May 5-6 at the GGHS Gymnasium in Naples.

“It was only fitting we return again next year after the wonderful response we received from our competing member schools this past May,” FHSAA Executive Director Dr. Roger Dearing said. “We want to thank Golden Gate High along with the Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention & Visitors Bureau for making this possible.”

The FHSAA boys volleyball state quarterfinals will take place on Friday, May 5, beginning at 1 p.m. The state semifinals will then take place May 6 with games at 10 a.m. and noon. The 4 p.m. state championship game will be streamed live through an FHSAA broadcast partner.

General admission tickets will cost $9 and will be made available in the near future. Parking will cost $5 for cars and $10 for fan buses. For more information on the FHSAA, follow them on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat by searching for “FHSAA.”
