Cardiff 0 Tottenham 3
Tottenham travelled to Cardiff on Tuesday as they looked to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat to Wolves.
Tottenham began the day in 3rd place but would climb above 2nd place Manchester City with a win over Cardiff.
The game started off well for Spurs as Harry Kane put them 1-0 up inside three minutes.
Kane’s goal against Cardiff also meant he has now scored against every Premier League opponent he has faced.

Christian Eriksen would then double Spurs lead in the 12th minute before Heung-Min Son made it 3-0 in the 26th minute.
The game would remain 3-0 and Spurs are now second in the league.
After the game Mauricio Pochettino spoke about the importance of bouncing back from their defeat to Wolves:
“I think it was so important. It’s so important to build another positive run.
“Of course in football it’s impossible to win every game, but sure we are going to try to win every single game. It was so important for our confidence.”
Christian Eriksen contract update
As well as speaking about the Cardiff game, Pochettino was also asked about Christian Eriksen’s contract.
Eriksen’s contract is due to expire at the end of next season but Spurs have still yet to come to terms on a new deal.
The midfielder has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Eriksen was on fire vs Cardiff and came away with the man of the match award.
