1. Ohio State (Previous: 1)
A bye week for the Buckeyes keeps them securely on top of the first Power 5 of the new year. Their 13-1 record in-conference has Ohio State on top of the WCHA at the flip of the calendar.
2. Minnesota (Previous: 2)
The Gophers swept a solid UConn team last weekend cementing themselves in the No. 2 spot. A big test awaits, as they host No. 1 Ohio State next.

4. Clarkson (Previous: 4)
A first period goal by Dominique Petrie was all the Golden Knights needed to escape Colgate last weekend. Clarkson now sits at 19-1-2 with home contests against RPI and Union next up on the schedule.
5. Colgate (Previous: 5)
A dominant 7-3 win over No. 10 St. Lawrence keeps Colgate at number five, even after a loss to Clarkson. Emma Pais scored twice in Friday’s first period to give the Raiders a lead they wouldn’t relinquish
