A particularly fun drink to serve around Halloween, this cocktail calls for allspice dram—liqueur flavored with allspice berries. Also known as pimento dram, this liqueur is an essential component of tiki drinks, so it’s worth keeping a bottle on hand.

Yield: 1 drink
Prep Time: 2 minutes
2 ounces Basil Hayden’s Bourbon
½ ounce fresh orange juice
½ ounce lemon juice
½ ounce maple syrup
1 heaping bar spoon canned pumpkin puree
3 dashes Angostura bitters
1 ounce allspice dram
3 to 4 pieces candy corn, for garnish
- Combine all ingredients except garnish into a mixing tin, add ice, and shake vigorously.
- Strain into rocks glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with skewered candy corn.
