After what seemed like an age, Arsenal would finally announce the signing of Denis Suarez on Wednesday.
Suarez has joined Arsenal on loan from FC Barcelona for the remainder of the season.

Suarez rejoined Barcelona in 2016 from Villarreal for a fee of around £2.9m.
The midfielder has played 71 games in total for Barcelona’s first team, scoring eight and assisting 11.
However, the Spaniard has found his game time quite limited this season.
Suarez has made just two La Liga appearances in the 2018/19 campaign, totalling just 17 minutes of playing time.
Given his lack of first-team chances at Barca, it is not too surprising he wanted to leave in January.
Bellerin’s involvement & injury update
Since making the switch to Arsenal, Suarez has revealed the role fellow Spaniard Hector Bellerin played in him joining the Gunners.
The pair are familiar with each other from international duty and according to Suarez, Bellerin spoke to him as soon as he began to be linked with Arsenal:
“I’ve spoken to Hector. He wrote me a message when the rumours started to come out in the press about me joining Arsenal.” As quoted by the Evening Standard.
While Bellerin may have helped convince Suarez to come to Arsenal, the full-back is unlikely to play with him this season.
Bellerin has recently undergone surgery on his knee after sustaining an injury in Arsenal’s win over Chelsea.
Bellerin did state on Twitter that the surgery was a success. But he is still likely to be out for at least six months, according to Sky Sports.
Surgery = success. Big thank you to all the doctors and physios who worked so hard to get me ready for surgery and through it with such ease pic.twitter.com/Jl8oNUptCB
