CSKA – Bayern 79:68

CSKA earned the second straight victory at the start of Euroleague regular season. They knocked down Bayern in Moscow. Will Clyburn (201-SF-90, college: Iowa St.) produced 15 points and 8 rebounds to pace the winners.
CSKA eked out a 22:18 lead after ten minutes. The hosts drained 25 points in the second frame to ensure a 47:40 halftime lead. CSKA held Bayern to just 10 points in the third period to secure a 10-point lead at the final break 60:50. CSKA kept Bayern in check throughout the fourth term to cruise to the win. Joel Bolomboy (206-F/C-94, college: Weber St., agency: Pensack Sports) and Johannes Voigtmann (211-C-92) added 10 points each for CSKA. Greg Monroe (211-C-90, college: Georgetown) responded with 17 points and 10 rebounds for Bayern.
