Should I rebuild my shot?

I'm 19 years old and I've been big into basketball for basically my whole life. I don't play competitively, just play for fun in intramural leagues and pickup games. I'm a pretty solid shooter in terms of makes, however there's two major flaws in my mechanics; my elbow flares out when I shoot and I start my shot very low, basically at my chest. I understand that since I'm just playing for fun this isn't really a big deal if my shots go in. But since I'm on summer break and have the time, I want to possibly rebuild my form to shoot a more textbook jumper with great mechanics. I'm not really trying to mimic anyone else's form persay, but forms like Dame, Steph, and Klay appeal to me. Not only will it make my shot look much better, I definitely feel that it will help my consistency as well because I'm pretty streaky. Is it worth the effort? Also if anyone could send me good videos on this that would be great!
