The 47-year-old has overcome the odds to help Tottenham into the top four and the Champions League final without adding to his squad since last season.

But it is clear that Pochettino has the capacity to achieve even more if he is supported.

Tottenham have already been linked with the likes of Ryan Sessegnon, Tanguy N’Dombele, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Andre Gomes.

Spurs fans will certainly be hoping for an exciting summer of transfers having been starved of one since the start of last year.
